With the introduction of the Vbeam® Aesthetica™, Platinum™ and Perfecta™ came the next generation of form and function for Pulsed Dye Lasers. Candela's cutting edge technology is available in three unique models, all of which boast advanced micro-pulse technology, increased versatility and simplified ease of use. The Vbeam Aesthetica, specifically designed for skin rejuvenation, by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, is now also effective at treating unwanted brown spots, including freckles, sun spots and uneven pigmentation and skin tone. Candela's unique micro-pulse technology targets and eliminates both redness and browns at the epidermis level without impacting underlying blood vessels that can cause purpura. Redesigned to achieve maximum ease of use, the Aesthetica features Candela's patented pigmented lesion handpiece, ergonomically designed to reduce operator wrist fatigue and create a higher level of comfort for the practitioner. Each console is sleeker and smaller, allowing the practitioner greater maneuverability from treatment room to treatment room. The Aesthetica also features a large 10” color screen with Smart-Touch technology for a user-friendly interface and clear, easy-to-read graphics. The Vbeam Platinum is designed to treat a wide range of vascular lesions, including facial and leg veins, rosacea, port wine stains and acne. With the new eight micro-pulse technology, the Platinum is able to provide equal and consistent vessel heating, resulting in improved outcomes without purpura. Similar to the Aesthetica, the Platinum boasts greater ease of use, with a sleeker and smaller console for maneuverability purposes and a large 10” screen with Smart-Touch technology and easy-to-read graphics. From skin rejuvenation by reducing fine lines and wrinkles to the treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions, the Vbeam® Perfecta is designed with unmatched versatility to handle a wide range conditions. The Perfecta features advanced micro-pulse technology and multiple handpieces with the ability to treat various spot sizes from 3mm to 12mm; additionally Perfecta includes 2 pigmented lesion handpieces and a 3X10mm elliptical which is ideally suited for veins. Redness, warts, pigmentation, wrinkles, veins or scars, this laser does it all.  Each member of the Vbeam family features the handpiece integrated Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™), which cools and protects skin during treatments to avoid purpura. Also unique to this new family of products, are Pre-Programmed Treatment Guidelines that come ready to use in each model, and work in conjunction with Smart-Touch user interfacing. With the touch of a button, the Smart-Touch interface helps lead the practitioner through procedures with the confidence of knowing the latest treatment guidelines are available. Although these guidelines are constantly being refined, it's easy to keep the laser current with simple updating via a USB port on the back of the unit.
