MyCandela adds free site-building instruction.
 The
most comprehensive program for planning, marketing, and launching a laser
treatment business now shows you how to build your own website-free of
expensive webmaster charges.
Candela has always recognized that marketing lasers is as important as owning them. MyCandela, a free online program available exclusively to Candela laser owners, gives practitioners complete step-by-step instructions for building a successful laser treatment business. It is the only online program of its kind that covers every facet of the laser treatment success in easy-to-follow 20-minute modules.
Now Candela offers something new with the MyCandela program-a free website builder. Candela laser owners have the opportunity to build their own site, customize it, and change it independently without webmaster services and charges. Here's what Candela customers can expect:
- A free 10-page web site. All you pay for is the domain name of your choosing. It's not part of the Candela site so you can use it to promote other services as well. By comparison, most web builders will charge $300 or more per page for site development.
- Design choices. You choose from one of three color templates. You choose the design. You choose your own graphics.
- Opportunities to customize! Upload any images you like, or hyperlink to a streaming video demonstration on the Candela site. It's your site to make the most of!
- Candela as your host. Your site must be hosted somewhere, and Candela will be happy to provide that service at a cost of less than $20 a month.
- Metatags. Metatags are hidden key words that give your site maximum exposure on search engines. Only 30% of websites even have metatags, but MyCandela offers this service at no charge on every page.
Until last year, MyCandela built sites for its customers, but was then
forced to serve as webmaster and charge for every change each customer
wanted to make. With the new site builder, the customer can build a site
that serves his or her needs best, completely independent of Candela.

Forms Module. Provides more than 30 ready to use (customizable) forms that saves months of work.

Meet MyCandela developer Jeff Olson.
For several years, MyCandela developer Jeff Olson had been stretching himself thin working directly with customers to build their laser practices. Candela considered his role-as a business building trainer-to be a vital one, but the logistics of reaching every customer was becoming more and more difficult. The advent of the web presented just the opportunity Jeff and Candela were seeking-the ability to post a wealth of information about planning, treatment, and marketing where everyone could access it.
