New GentleYAG raises the bar for power and efficiency in Nd:YAG lasers.

Patients and practitioners have been waiting for a faster, more powerful Nd:YAG laser. Candela has answered the call, and then some. The GentleYAG, just introduced by Candela, sets lofty new standards in treating the widest range of conditions. Here are just some of its competitive advantages:

Power. With peak power exceeding 26,000 watts, the GentleYAG has nearly twice the power of any other YAG on the market. This peak power is what gives the GentleYAG its unmatched treatment versatility and wide range of treatment settings.

Versatility. The GentleYAG allows unparalleled versatility, treating the widest range of conditions-from unwanted hair and vascular lesions to PFB. You can also use the GentleYAG to treat all skin types, including tanned skin.

Spot Sizes. GentleYAG also delivers a wide range of spot sizes. It's new 1.5 mm and 3 mm spot sizes can easily trace and remove leg veins as well as facial veins. On the other end of the spectrum, the largest competitor's spot size is just 10 mm. Candela offers a 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and an unprecedented 18 mm spot.

Pulses. GentleYAG requires fewer pulses to treat equivalent areas, making hair removal treatment more comfortable for your patients. Repetition rates up to 2 Hz* and variable pulse durations from 0.250 to 300 ms allows treatment of fine as well as coarse hairs, small and large leg veins, and offers improved skin tolerance.

Candela DCD. All lasers are available with an optional patented cooling technology, the Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD), providing consistent and reproducible patient protection. With DCD, there's no need for messy gels and time-consuming clean-up.
