Why isn’t my office/location showing up in the Practitioner Search?
To be fair to all Candela providers, the search results are fully randomized and the display of results is limited to no more than 6
practitioners per search. You may have to search a number of times before your listing is displayed.
What type of marketing support is provided to Candela customers?
Candela offers a full-service Practice Marketing Kit with your purchase. This kit provides you with sample marketing materials that can be customized for your use. The Marketing Kit includes sample mailings, press releases, sample radio spots, advertisements and much more.
Who do I call for service or technical questions? How quickly can I get my laser serviced?
Please call Candela Technical Support at (508) 358-7400, extension 734. Please indicate if you have purchased the Hot Swap program for loaner service. Candela also provides an emergency pager system where customers receive immediate over-the-phone assistance 24/7.
What are typical prices charged by practitioners for procedures?
Pricing varies in different markets around the country and around the world. Please call your Sales Representative, who can provide you with guidelines and pricing estimates based upon your local market.
How can I get more information on proper clinical endpoints and treatment guidelines?
The most current treatment guidelines for all Candela systems can be accessed on MyCandela.com.
What special eyewear is required?
All practitioners and patients must wear protective eyewear while the laser or light-based device is in use. This eyewear must protect you from the specific wavelength, and must be of the appropriate optical density. Two-pair physician eyewear and one-pair patient eyewear are shipped with each system. Additional eyewear must be purchased directly through eyewear manufacturers.
What is the Dynamic Cooling Device?
Our patented Dynamic Cooling Device is used as an accessory on our lasers to cool and protect the epidermis during each laser pulse. In this particular application, it creates an ideal balance of heating of the target and cooling of the epidermis making the procedure non-ablative with little or no recovery period.
