Exempt Positions:
Sr. Mechanical Engineer L11E
Design, and implement mechanical engineering solutions related to aesthetic laser systems and accessories. V&V test development, execution, analysis, reporting. Project/Technical Leadership. Prepare for and Participate in design reviews. Advanced design (R&D), Legacy product, and Manufacturing support Prepare for and participate in comprehensive design reviews and ensure that mechanical engineering standards are met, designs are technically viable, risks appropriately identified and mitigation plans are put in place. Produce technical reports documenting theory of operation and technical trade-offs in designs as they relate to product requirements and risks. Work cross functionally (marketing, clinical, service, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality organizations) to identify and document mechanical product requirements. Develop and maintain the mechanical design requirements and test plans for the project with emphasis on subsystem interfaces and DFx (manufacturable, serviceable, reliable). Develop and maintain mechanical subsystem test protocols for design verification and validation. Develop mechanical: assembly fixturing, manufacturing procedures, test fixturing, and test procedures. Ensure the correctness and adequacy of mechanical documentation (requirements, design, test) on assigned projects. Execute test and risk mitigation plans to prescribed protocols, documenting results and creating final reports. Ensure compliance with design controls, mechanical standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and document analytical models of mechanical subsystem behavior and system interactions, specifically GD&T, critical dimensioning, inspection criteria, tolerance/worst case, FEA, and thermal analysis. Take on responsibility as technical project lead managing internal as well as external resources as required. QUALIFICATIONS: BS in mechanical engineering preferred. Minimum of 10 years of related experience in mechanical engineering of complex medical devices, preferably medical capital equipment, through multiple complete product development life cycles from concept through manufacturing transfer. Minimum of 3 years leading technical project teams through at least one complete product development life cycle. Knowledge of FDA/GMP, MDD/IEC, mechanical standards and design controls relating to medical devices. Knowledge of thermal modeling and heat transfer, fluid dynamics, materials, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), FEA, and DFx. Strong technical and analytical abilities including DOE and statistical analysis utilizing such tools at Matlab, Mathcad, Minitab, or Excel. Familiarity with high power laser products desirable. Proficiency with SolidWorks or ProE and Microsoft Windows Office tools. May be six sigma certified.

SALES REP HOUSTON- LG 7E
HOUSTON Territory Will promote and sell the full line of Candela’s equipment and products on an exclusive basis in the assigned territory. Must be able to interact with Candela’s customers in a responsible manner; and represent Candela at all workshops, conventions and training sessions. Will create new business and maintain existing customers. Good presentation skills and physician interaction skills are necessary. Must have 5 years experience in medical capital equipment sales to physicians and 2 years experience in lasers.

HR Generalist Temp/Temp to Perm
The HR Generalist tasks will include recruiting (resume database, interview set up and follow up), preparing International paperwork and other data as needed, interprets personnel policies for supervision,field questions regarding HR policies and employee benefits, provides back up for new hire orientation. Benefits administration as needed. Conduct annual EEO submission and annual Affirmative Action Plan Reporting. Responsible for HR database, training and assisting employees with trouble shooting on Human Resource software and websites. Job Requirements: • General knowledge of employment laws and practices. • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs. • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. Experience with payroll administration and ADP a plus. • Effective oral and written communication. • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality. • Excellent organizational skills. • Ability to maintain high level of discretion • Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills • Able to work at a level of detail that will result in accurate record keeping and reporting.
